The Activities Transcript

The CUE Transcript CMS was my baby from about 2007 to early 2011.

The transcript system was a custom built CMS to provide students with a printed, signed, and sealed transcript of their extracurricular activities and accomplishments. It was the transcript of your college life that you didn’t get with your academic transcript. The CMS was developed in 2003 by a graduate assistant named Mike.

The CMS went through what can only really be called a hodgepodge of updates and fixes over the next 4 years I had it. You could say that I “improved” the system a great deal while I worked on it, but the system ultimately felt incomplete, and it was prone to convoluted errors and mishaps at a moments notice.

NHMRC – Healthy Marriage Info

HealthyMarriageInfo.org

Healthymarriageinfo.org was the first project assigned to me working at BarkleyREI.

I sliced up Photoshop documents from our Creative department and coded them using the  HTML5 Boilerplate framework by Paul Irish.

QA was done in-house, then integration began on our home-grown CMS, REIgnition. The CMS had been extended beyond it’s normal functionality to include a Resource Manager for Research material. The client had requested this because they present a large number of research material every year, both from partners and from themselves.

The site was launched in early August.
